Abstract :
Ultrawideband (UWB) radar pioneer Igor Immoreev (M´98-SM´99) died in November 2012 in Moscow, Russia. He held the titles of Doctor of Science, Professor, Member of the International Academy of Information, and Member of the Academy of Engineering Science of the Russian Federation. He was a laureate of the USSR State Prize and an “Honor Scientist of the Russian Federation”.
