Abstract
The DSPA (dynamic signalling period allocation) algorithm for wireless asynchronous transfer mode medium access control protocols is extended to mixed traffic environments composed of various service classes. The algorithm significantly increases the efficiency of the control slots, and thus has a minimal computational overhead. Moreover, the quality of service for each service class is satisfied by proper channel allocation to different service classes according to their requirements
