Abstract :
Society still assigns a low value to doing things and getting things done and, although it may slowly be changing its attitude, the process could well do with a push. The absence of constructive suggestions for plausible action is itself a symptom of the difticulty. Perhaps, as this article suggests, the first step is to expose some of the `educators¿ to situations likely to create a more informed debate towards viable solutions.
