Abstract :
The problems encountered in a typical petroleum or chemical tank farm create the need for telemetry of storage tank data. Design criteria are presented for a reliable solid-state digital telemetering system which is also applicable to power distribution systems. Time-sharing techniques are used to provide a conservatively designed single system capable of continuous alarm scanning, function control, and data logging.
