Abstract :
Many members will be following Princess Margaret´s current tour with close attention. Mr. Barlow has made many visits to the West Indies and he has a first-hand knowledge of their affairs, and in particular of the progress of electrical engineering in the islands. The economy of the West Indies is at present changing rapidly, and there are likely to be great opportunities in them for British engineering enterprise in the years immediately ahead.
