Abstract :
Interprocessor communication is what makes parallel programming challenging. The author tests the performance of multiphase complete exchange on three parallel machines and shows that the multiphase algorithm for hypercubes performs very well on these non-hypercube machines. The machines used are the Intel Paragon, the IBM SP2 and the Meiko CS-2
