  • Abstract
THE RECOGNITION of personal achievements by one´s peers is one of the most satisfying elements of a professional career. Election to the grade of Fellow within the IEEE is one of the honors that is a possibility for every Senior Member. Of even greater honor is being nominated and chosen as the recipient of one of the IEEE Field Awards which, for those whose activity is instrumentation and measurement, implies the Morris E. Leeds Award for “outstanding contribution in the field of electrical measurement.”
