Abstract :
After pointing out that the literature is full of RC networks misnamed as `Wien bridge´, the author attempts to demonstrate that if the idea presented in the above paper (see Int. J. Circuit Theory Appl., vol.3, p.135-48, 1975) is applied to a true Wien bridge, an oscillator with inherently less distortion than the one experimented by Kaplan could result.
