Abstract :
A dual-frequency polarization diversity antenna is present for multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) systems. The proposed antenna produces horizontally polarized omnidirectional radiation fields caused by constant current distribution on its wing structures. The measured return losses of 18 and 19 dB are achieved at 2.45 and 3.9 GHz, respectively. The omnidirectional radiation patterns are achieved for dual-band MIMO systems and other wireless communication applications.
