Abstract :
This Events & Sightings installment covers the History of Computers Exhibition at Hiroshima City Library and recaps the Vintage Computer Festival East 7.0, an annual gathering of hobbyists that takes place at the InfoAge Science Center in Wall, New Jersey. This Events & Sightings also includes an obituary for Gary Chapman, former senior lecturer at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin; director of the LBJ School´s 21st Century Project, which centers on expanding public participation in science and technology; and associate director of the Telecommunications and Information Policy Institute.
