Abstract :
The authors present a combining technique of adaptive array antenna and multiple access interference (MAI) cancellation for increasing system capacity in wideband code division multiple access (W-CDMA) systems. From the simulation results, an improvement in system performance proportional to the number of antennas is observed and additional improvement is obtained due to the interference cancellation
