Abstract :
The existing methods for CCS No.7 link availability calculation do not take the observed signalling traffic model (i.e. offered load and MSU´s length distribution) into consideration. This introduces a problem in their use in accurately prescribing the sustainable BER value. The authors present an improved method, which takes the offered load influence into consideration
