Abstract :
Dispersion compensation of Pr3+-ZBLAN fibre lasers to reduce the laser pulsewidth can be achieved with the aid of tailored DC fibres with positive dispersion in the second optical window. It is necessary to solve an inverse problem to determine the refractive-index profile for prescribed dispersion values
