Abstract :
This edited book is a compilation of the papers presented at a symposium held in Acapulco, Mexico, in December 1980. The volume contains 47 papers and a bibliography. The papers have been edited by Ronald R. Yager into four parts: general topics, logical aspects, mathematical aspects, and applications. The objective of the volume is to provide the reader with an up-to-date view of the development in the theory of fuzzy sets.
