Abstract :
In this paper, we developed an optimization algorithm of a HV electrode contour to improve insulation performance of gas insulated power apparatus. Under the consideration of insulation performance of gaseous dielectrics, we could obtain an optimum electrode contour with the highest breakdown voltage. Moreover, we investigated the calculation efficiency and applicability of the optimization algorithm by means of a Borda electrode profile facing a grounded square corner as the optimization example
