    During the 1960´s, with the introduction of digital computers, we have witnessed an intensive activity in discrete-data control systems [1]-[9]. With the recent invention of the “ubiquitous” microprocessors, there is a renewed interest in digital control systems [10]-[15]. The present book by Phillips and Nagle is one of such recent books.
