Abstract
Magnetic flux rope in the Earth´s magnetotail is studied by using a global magnetohydrodynamic simulation. We visualized the 3-D structures and temporal changes of magnetic flux rope. It shows that the magnetic flux rope changes its magnetic topology due to the magnetic reconnections during a propagation process.
