  • Abstract
    Have you ever wondered why a normal body temperature is considered to be 98.6 °F? The thought popped into my head the other day, and I really didn\´t have an answer. I decided to do a little research out of curiosity, and that\´s when I came across the term "thermoscope," which fueled a broader interest in the history of temperature measurement.
