Abstract :
Periodic digital sequences have been used in a wide range of communications applications. The paper aims to provide a concise, practical and up-to-date comparison of the properties of binary and non-binary sequences. The emphasis of the paper is on the constructions and parameter comparisons for various periodic sequence types to allow simple design and selection for a variety of engineering applications
