    In this issue of Topics in Integrated Circuits for Communications, we continue the theme of integrated circuits design for multistandard radios and wireless communication for biomedical devices. Like our last issue in April 2012, we have selected three articles covering these two areas, which are drawing significant attention from industry as well as research communities worldwide.
