Abstract :
This paper proposes and simulates a novel structure for optical demultiplexing of optical multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) systems. Such a structure obviates the need for electronic digital signal processing in low-dispersion links, potentially saving significant power consumption. It has the minimum number of required analog control elements for nonunitary MIMO demultiplexing.
