Abstract :
An innovative development environment for the generation of libraries of routines for digital signal processing (DSP) is presented. Significant aspects of this environment are advanced user friendliness and the wide portability of the results. These resources allow the user to implement new algorithms quickly and to use the software on different systems. The environment allows the user to implement algorithms by writing mathematical formula expressions with onscreen graphic representation and generates the corresponding source-code routines in a highly portable language. The C language was selected for its wide diffusion and portability
