Abstract :
The paper discusses the United States plan to return to the moon. It focuses on the government´s financial issues and the efforts of private enterprise to fulfill the mission. The paper also discusses the collaboration of NASA with Astrobotics Teechnologies and Carnegie Mellon University in sending a robotic planetary rover, the Red Rover on the moon.
