  • Abstract
The author considers the role of instrumentation education. He suggests that instrumentation can be both a means to an end and an end in itself. Transforming students into high-tech toolmakers is one of the most empowering things we can do. Regardless of the curriculum, one need not lack for sources of inspiration or application using instrumentation as a vehicle to make theoretical material come alive
