Summer months in the Temecula wine country of Southern California are flush with lines of trellised vines, like green corduroy draped over the gentle contours of the vineyard slopes. To the casual visitor, it appears like any other idyllic vineyard landscape, but this is not your typical vineyard. It is hghi-tech, with an array of sensors and wireless transmitters providing real-time biofeedback to the viticulturist.
