Abstract :
In 1957, as a result of extensive inquiries after missing notes and manuscripts, three sackfuls of papers were found under the floorboards of Heaviside´s house in Paignton, Devon. An article on this discovery appeared in the January 1959 Journal, p. 26, and an Institution Monograph (319) on the papers was published at the same time.
