Abstract :
In this paper we present a study on the PAPR of SC-FDE systems using widely linear Tomlinson-Harashima precoding. It was found that these systems have lower PAPR when compared to their strictly linear versions; also, this PAPR can be further reduced without a severe impact in the error performance by shortening the length of the precoding filter with respect to the channel impulse response length.
