Abstract :
A great deal of activity has taken place in the three months since my last column. Our administrative committee met in June in Philadelphia, our International Symposium was held July 17–19 in Tokyo, several members of our society participated in the 1979 International Colloquium on Circuits and Systems, July 24 and 25, in Taipei, Taiwan, and a delegation from our society attended the first open convention since the cultural revolution of the Chinese Institute of Electronics in the People´s Republic of China.
