Mr. D. W. Blakeslee, assistant superintendent of the Penn Electrical and Mfg. Co., Irwin, Pa., has received his commission of First Lieutenant in the Engineer Section of the Officers´ Reserve Corps. Mr. Blakeslee has been connected with the Westinghouse Electric and Mfg. Co., the Duquesne Light Co., and was at one time assistant professor of electrical engineering in the University of Arkansas. He is a member of the A. I. E. E., the I. E. S., the N. E. L. A., the S. P. E. E., and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
