Abstract :
The authors propose a dispersion slope compensating fibre (DSCF) which compensates third-order dispersion around 1550 nm of non-zero dispersion shifted fibre (NZ-DSF) links. The total dispersion slope of the NZ-DSF link, improved by concatenating the fabricated DSCF, was as low as +0.03 ps/km/nm2
