Abstract :
Robust stability analysis of a spark ignition engine model conducted by Abate et al. (994) is reexamined. An error in the analysis is noted. Correcting this error and using a different uncertainty description than that considered by Abate et al. are shown to lead to a more simplified analysis and strengthened robust stability result
