Abstract :
Albert F. Ganz, Professor of Electrical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology, died in his 46th year on July 26, 1917. Prof. Ganz was born in Germany. He received his early education in N. Y. schools and then entered Stevens Institute, graduating in 1895 with degree of Mechanical Engineer. He was immediately appointed Instructor in applied Electricity at Stevens, became Assistant Professor in 1897 and received full professorship in 1902. In addition to his work at Stevens Prof. Ganz has been often engaged as expert to make commercial and scientific tests and reports. Prof Ganz was a Fellow of the A. I. E. E. and a Member of the A. S. M. E.
