Abstract
Because countries are proud of their traditions, heritage, and accomplishments and want the rest of the world to know about them, they find it useful and convenient to disseminate such information on tiny testaments called stamps. The philatelic approach to recording history is studded with acknowledgements of the electrical and electronic accomplishments and includes events dating back to the early 17th century. Although the number of stamps commemorating such events is far too numerous to describe adequately in this article, some of the more noteworthy events and inventors are described with reference to their appearance on postal engravings.
