Abstract
The fabrication and properties of 0.28 NA, 100/140 mu m, multimode alumino-silicate fibre doped with 7.5 wt.% Nd3+ is reported. These fibres show excellent potential for use as the sensing element in intrinsic optical fibre temperature sensors.
