Abstract :
Charles A. Rohr, of the General Electric Company, New York City, died suddenly on March 27, 1922, following overexertion while playing a game of squash at his athletic club in Brooklyn, N. Y. Mr. Rohr had been warned by his physician against taking violent exercise, but insisted upon playing the game of squash, to which he had been devoted since his college days. Mr. Rohr was born in St. Louis, June 19, 1890, and was graduated from Cornell University, class of 1911, with the degree of M. E. He entered the employ of the General Electric Company immediately following his graduation, and had remained with that company since in various capacities. He joined the Institute in 1914.
