Abstract :
Non-ideal DC link conditions degrade the quality of output waveforms from voltage-sourced inverters. Four-switch inverters that make use of the split DC link produced from a voltage-doubling rectifier are particularly sensitive to link imbalance. An effective technique using space vector methods is described which modulates the ripple effects, extending the useful operating range of low cost, single to three phase converters
