Abstract :
A global electromagnetic analysis of microstrip agile antennas is presented. The analysis developed is based on the integral equation technique associated with a numerical treatment of lumped elements, which enables the actual size of the varactor diodes to be taken into account. The agreement between theoretical and experimental results clearly shows the capabilities of this approach to predict the agility phenomenon
