Abstract :
This paper focuses on shape preservation of data. A piecewise rational cubic trigonometric function with three parameters has been constructed to visualize shape preserving positive, monotone and convex data. Two of the parameters are constrained to create the shape preserving curve through positive, monotone and convex data, while, the remaining one is free for shape flexibility of the curve.
