Abstract :
The propagation characteristics of the fundamental mode of annular ring microstrip antenna (ARMSA) on metamaterial substrate are determined via spectral domain analysis. Green´s functions of the structure in Hankel transform domain are determined by using Hertz vector formulation. Numerical results of resonant frequencies and return losses are found as functions of the metamaterial properties and some geometrical parameters.
