Dear readers: The continuing challenge for this series is to provide high-quality tutorial style articles that are relevant to the communications audience, and provide timely insight for both non-experts and practicing engineers in the field. The fast pace of daily work not only affects the responsiveness of the reviewers; it also impacts the volume and quality of submissions. As we as a community evaluate the trade-offs between our daily activities, we do hope that consideration will be given to future contributions to this series.
