The new electrical engineers

This fall across Canada, many young men, and a number of young women as well, have entered programs in electrical engineering. Others have returned from their summer activities to the challenge of another academic year. Some have returned for the last time because in a few short months they will have completed their programs. These young people will soon have in their hands not only their careers but also, in due course, the future of electrical engineering as a discipline in Canada. This message is directed to them.
