Etude expérimentale du champ électrostatique dans les postes et sous les lignes de transport haute tension

With a view to establishing general guidelines for evaluating the intensity of alternate electrostatic fields in high-tension power stations, Hydro-Québec has assembled data in several typical stations and underneath some high tension transmission lines. The report analyses electrostatic field intensities at ground level, as measured and as calculated. Measurements of alternate currents induced in persons at ground level and in an elevated position are also shown.
