Abstract :
A three-channel optical waveguide switch has been designed using carrier-induced refractive index effects. Switching between individual or a combination of channels was achieved by controlling electrical currents injected through two parallel electrodes. A crosstalk of -19 dB between adjacent channels has been measured over a spectral range spanning 40 nm
