Abstract :
In a 3-port stripline circulator, the choice of a dielectric loading is necessary to broaden bandwidth. Impedance matrix formulation enables one to study an externally-tuned circulator. A shunt capacitor at each port may increase the bandwidth or decrease the circulation frequency according to the ratio k/μ where k and μ are parameters of the tensor permeability of the ferrite.
