Abstract
In order to conduct fracture, short circuit and differentiation detection of stranded conductors under complicated environments or judge the contact of massproduced relay contacts, a USB multi-channel signal detector is designed. The MSP430G2553 chip of the MCU completes rapid AD signal collection and the relay controls the signal input mode. The chip CH372 communicating via USB sends data to the upper computer to implement real-time monitoring and operation so as to completely realize the designed functions. The experimental results show that the 10-bit ADC of the MSP430FG2553 is used for sampling. The upper computer sets the work modes of the signals of multiple channels via USB, including 5V, 12 V and floating. Each channel can provide 5V and 12 V. The data of each channel can be displayed on the upper computer in real time. The system features multi-channel signal monitoring and control, rapid update, precise display and easy control and can display signals synchronously. In addition, simple extension will enable it to detect impedance. It is a multi-purpose, low-cost and high-efficient portable instrument.
