  • Abstract
In overseas engineering general contracting project, EPC(Engineering Procurement Construction) mode is widely popular business model. The key profit point of EPC project is the ability of coordination to design work from the different project participants. The effectively communications based on the design concept ofthe owners and the general contractor has a positive impact to the cost of construction project, construction period and operation, it is also a prerequisite for project success. BIM(Building Information Modeling) is a new technologyin the architecture engineering construction (AEC). BIM model can ensure the timely, accurate and integrity information transmission in the lifecycle of the building construction. Combined BIM and EPC, is a good and new business model.
