Abstract :
Performance of 21 different low-complexity RS-CC concatenated codes have been studied to find out the codes for which the coding gain is maximum and the range of code-rates over which large coding gain is achievable. Though high-speed implementation of all the 21 codes is feasible with low complexity, some of the codes may not find application because of their poor performance.
