The Way Ahead

I had the privilege of attending the meetings of the Member and Geographic Activities (MGA) Board as an observer. The major IEEE Boards meet three times a year—February, June, and November. In addition to attending the MGA Board meeting, which normally takes place on Saturday, one can take the opportunity to witness what is going on in the meetings of other boards such as the Technical Activities Board (TAB), the Educational Activities Board (EAB), the Publications, Products, and Services Board (PSPB), and particularly the Board of Directors meeting. All these joint activities offer an excellent opportunity to broaden your horizon and to see the many aspects of the great organization that is the IEEE.
