  • Abstract
    During the past two years, Applico, a mobile app development company based in New York City, has grown from a dorm room start-up to a successful business with 45 employees (75 by the end of 2011) and a client list that includes several household names, all without seeking outside venture funding. Developing mobile apps on multiple platforms requires innovative designers who can mold them into a native and immersive experience.
