A swan song

This is the last issue of the Journal that I shall be “putting to bed” and the remainder of Volume 4 will be edited by my successor, Professor Ian McCausland of the University of Toronto´s Department of Electrical Engineering. Some months ago I asked the Joint Publications Council to seek a new editor as I felt that after three years the Journal would benefit from and, indeed, deserved a fresh hand at the helm. Their choice of editor is a happy one and I wish Prof. McCausland every success in the issues that lie ahead.
